I have alwaysbeen fascinated by the influence that food has on health and well-being, which is why I decided to study a degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the Fernando Pessoa Canarias University. I wanted to understand in depth how nutrients impact the human body and contribute to improve people's quality of life.

After finishing my studies I specialized in obesity and bariatric surgery, and today I continue to train to be able to provide the best of my knowledge due to the constant evolution of scientific research and health trends. Keeping up to date allows me to incorporate new knowledge and approaches, ensuring evidence-based practices. In addition, continuing education allows me to adapt to the changing needs of patients and offers the opportunity to specialize in emerging areas, such as bariatric surgery, thus helping to provide more effective and personalized nutritional counseling.
